Una famiglia della Repubblica Ceca era in vacanza nelle Dolomiti quando è avvenuto l'incidente. Secondo quanto riportato, la 14enne è caduta durante un'escursione in arrampicata a oltre 2.500 metri di altitudine. Si pensa che abbia perso la presa e sia scivolata nel vuoto.
I soccorritori sono stati immediatamente allertati, ma hanno potuto recuperare solo il corpo della ragazza. Tutti gli aiuti, secondo le notizie, sono giunti troppo tardi, e l'incidente si è concluso in una tragedia per la famiglia in vacanza in montagna.
Le circostanze esatte dell'incidente rimangono tuttora poco chiare. È stata avviata un'indagine per chiarire le cause della caduta.
