Two trucks fell from a bridge in Mendoza, specifically on the Acceso Este in Guaymallén, after colliding with a guardrail. The accident occurred around 11 a.m. and resulted in one death and several injuries.
According to La Nación, the accident left one dead and five injured, two of whom are children. However, Infobae reports that the number of injured has risen to six, with one of the minors in serious condition.

The deceased has been identified as Claudio Assenza, 43, who worked at a prominent winery in the province. His wife and one of his children are hospitalized in serious condition due to injuries sustained in the accident.
Furthermore, it has been confirmed that the driver of the vehicle with which Assenza collided is in custody, according to reports from Clarín and Infobae.
