Right of reply, corrections and complaints

Anyone affected by a statement of fact made in this service may demand a right of reply. It must be limited to factual statements, must identify the contested contribution exactly and must reach us in writing and signed by hand at the address stated above — without delay, at the latest six weeks after the last day on which the contested text was offered, and in any event three months after the text was first made available (§ 20 Abs. 2 Nr. 4 MStV). We publish the right of reply without cost to the person affected, without insertions or omissions, in the same presentation and in direct connection with the contested statement.

Independently of that we examine every indication of an error. Write to [email protected] and state the address of the report and the contested passage. We correct, supplement or remove the report and mark the correction on the contribution.

Nature of the published content

This service publishes two kinds of content. First, our own items, produced automatically and with AI assistance from the headlines and short teasers of the newsrooms reporting an event; the contributing newsrooms are named and linked on every item. Second, plain references to items by external newsrooms, for which only the headline and a very short extract are shown; the full report appears solely at the original provider, who is responsible for its content. Responsibility for our own items lies with the person named above.

The sources evaluated also include Russian-language newsrooms for which this service maintains no language edition of its own; they appear only as a named and linked source beneath the items concerned.

Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
