Bart Lemmen finishes fifth in Tour of Poland after time trial
Bart Lemmen did not win the Tour of Poland, finishing in fifth place. Christian Scaroni took over the yellow jersey, while his teammate Louis Barré won the stage.

Bart Lemmen, rider for Visma-Lease a Bike, concluded the Tour of Poland on a disappointing note on Sunday. Despite leading for some time, he finished fifth in the general classification after the final time trial. Christian Scaroni took over the yellow jersey and became the overall winner of the tour.
According to NU.nl, Lemmen had a good chance to claim the overall victory but was unable to capitalize on it due to his performance in the concluding time trial. This led to his position in the standings, where he ultimately finished no higher than fifth place.
German rider Marco Brenner from Tudor claimed the overall victory in the Tour of Poland, as reported by NOS. Brenner's teammate Stefan Küng, a time trial specialist, won the final stage, ensuring a successful conclusion for Tudor in the tour.

Lemmen, who secured his first professional victory earlier this week in the fourth stage, wore the leader's jersey after this win. It was an exciting week for the 30-year-old Dutch rider, who now looks back on the competition with mixed feelings.
However, his teammate Louis Barré was successful, winning the stage, which adds a positive note to the results of the Visma-Lease a Bike team during this tour.
