Beijing to lift travel ban on founders of Manus
Beijing plans to revoke the travel ban on the founders of AI Manus following the cancellation of the sale to Meta, according to the Financial Times.

Beijing is planning to lift the travel ban that was imposed on the founders of the artificial intelligence (AI) company Manus. The decision comes after the cancellation of Manus' acquisition by Meta, which was valued at $2 billion (approximately €1.84 billion).
The Financial Times was the first to report that the acquisition did not materialize, which led to a review of the restrictions placed on the company's founders. The travel ban had drawn significant attention, raising concerns about the implications for the freedom of movement of technology entrepreneurs in China.
This development is part of a broader context regarding the relations between China and Western technology companies, especially at a time when market dynamics and AI technology are constantly evolving.
