Belgian man (62) dies after being pulled unconscious from the sea in Greece

In the Greek city of Chalkida, on the island of Evia, a 62-year-old Belgian man died last Saturday. He was pulled unconscious from the sea by bystanders.

According to local media, the man, whose identity has not been released, was found on the beach after getting into the water. Emergency services arrived quickly to attempt resuscitation.

Despite the efforts of the emergency services, they were unable to save the man, and he died at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
