Café De Looidijk reopens in Heist-op-den-Berg by Bart Aertgeerts
After months of closure, Bart Aertgeerts has reopened the historic Café De Looidijk, which has a rich history since 1870.

Café De Looidijk, located in Heist-op-den-Berg, has reopened its doors after a closure of several months. The café has a long history dating back to 1870, making it an important place in the local community.
Bart Aertgeerts, a 55-year-old resident of Zoerle-Parwijs, has decided to breathe new life into the café. He knows the café well from his many walks with his dog in the area and finds it a charming place to be.
The reopening of the café now offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere and the location by the Grote Nete, which Aertgeerts says 'flows right through his heart'.
