Civil Protection reinforces measures against fire risk
ANEPC bans the use of fire in rural areas and recommends precautions due to heat.

The National Authority for Emergency and Civil Protection (ANEPC) has announced a ban on the use of fire in rural areas, applicable to both cooking activities and burning practices. This measure comes in response to the high risk of wildfires, especially during periods of intense heat.
ANEPC also advocates that the population adopts a series of recommendations to protect themselves from high temperatures. Among these recommendations, the General Directorate of Health (DGS) suggests consuming at least 1.5 liters of water daily, using sunscreen, and opting for light and fresh meals.

These warnings are particularly relevant as an increase in temperatures is expected, which could exacerbate conditions conducive to wildfires. ANEPC reiterates the importance of public cooperation in implementing preventive measures.
In addition to the aforementioned prohibitions, the authorities emphasize that vigilance and individual responsibility are crucial to avoid emergency situations related to fires.
