Deadly dispute in Bremen: pedestrian dies after being struck by a driver
A 56-year-old pedestrian died in Bremen following a confrontation with a driver. The suspected perpetrator fled and is now wanted.

On Saturday, a dispute occurred in Bremen between a pedestrian and a driver. The confrontation started verbally but quickly escalated when the driver became violent in the following minutes.
According to police, the driver struck the 56-year-old pedestrian multiple times, causing him to fall. The man fell in such a way that he hit his head on the ground and was immediately severely injured.
The victim of the altercation received medical assistance at the scene, but any help came too late. The pedestrian died on-site from his injuries.

The perpetrator fled the scene in a white van. The police have set up a homicide investigation unit to investigate the circumstances of the incident and to search for the fugitive driver.
By the afternoon of the incident, according to a police spokesperson, no arrests had been made. Investigators are looking for witnesses who may have information about the suspect.
