A former nurse in Germany is linked by the public prosecutor's office to more than 120 suspicious deaths. The man was sentenced last year to life in prison for the murders of ten patients and 27 attempted murders.

According to authorities, an investigation is underway into these additional suspicious cases. The details of the new allegations have not yet been made public, but prosecutors have announced that they are examining further evidence.

The nurse previously stated during his trial that he killed the victims for various reasons, including to reduce the workload. This statement has led to further investigations concerning his actions in the healthcare facility.

The court that issued the earlier conviction is now involved in assessing the new case. Investigations are ongoing, and no additional charges have been filed so far.

More media outlets, including De Telegraaf and HLN, have reported on the possible connection between the nurse and the new suspicious deaths, drawing the attention of both law enforcement and the public.
