Fuel subsidy application deadline for "high mileage" workers extended to August 31
The deadline to apply for the 100-euro fuel subsidy for low-income households has been postponed to August 31, 2026, according to a government decree.
The Ministry of Action and Public Accounts has announced the extension of the deadline for submitting applications for the fuel subsidy for "high mileage" workers. Originally set for July 30, this deadline has now been extended to August 31, 2026. This applies to low-income workers who require this assistance due to fuel prices.
This program, announced on April 22, aims to support households facing high transportation costs, particularly due to the impact of events in the Middle East on pump prices.
The measure provides a subsidy of 100 euros to help low-income households offset the cost of fuel. Affected workers can now submit their applications within the new deadline set by the decree.
The initiative was launched to address the financial difficulties caused by rising fuel prices. The extension of the deadline is intended to allow eligible individuals to benefit from this aid.
