Hearing for alleged sexual abuse against Dafne Zapata's father postponed
The father of Dafne Zapata will appear via Zoom before a judge following his daughter's death; the hearing was postponed at the defendant's request.

The hearing for Dafne Zapata's father, accused of sexual abuse, was conducted via Zoom and was suspended, according to reports. Alejandra Quintos, Dafne's mother, was present to follow up on the case, which has remained open since 2019.
According to El Universal, the hearing, which began last Friday, was postponed to next week at Mr. Zapata's request. This process has faced several modifications and a verdict has yet to be issued despite the defendant's preventive detention.
Infobae indicates that the investigation into these events began in 2019, when Dafne was six years old. The hearing was scheduled for this Monday in Tamaulipas, against a backdrop of a lack of progress after years of proceedings.
