The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has stated that Pakistan, labeled a supporter of terrorism, cannot claim a pluralistic cultural legacy akin to the Indus Valley Civilization. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized Pakistan's need to cease terror activities as expressed by the sentiments of India's Generation Z.

In response, the Pakistani Foreign Office (FO) dismissed the assertions made by India as 'baseless', particularly those linking recent arrests of terror suspects in India to the country. The FO criticized these claims as attempts to distract from what it described as state-sponsored terrorism by India.

These exchanges took place against the backdrop of statements purportedly made by Indian Home Minister Amit Shah, who claimed the Indian government had dismantled a terrorist group and apprehended numerous operatives. The FO, however, did not explicitly mention Shah's remarks in its rebuttal but characterized the Indian allegations as part of a malicious campaign against Pakistan.

The contrasting narratives highlight ongoing tensions between the two nations, with each side rejecting the other's claims and reaffirming their positions regarding terrorism.
