Portugal welcomes Palestinian children for medical treatment
Two girls from Gaza arrive in Portugal for prosthetics and rehabilitation, supported by HEAL Palestine.

Two children from Gaza, Malak, aged 7, and Dima, aged 16, arrived in Portugal to receive medical treatment. They landed at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto on Monday.
According to the organization HEAL Palestine, which is involved in the process, this is the first time Palestinian children are being welcomed in Europe for specialized medical care, including prosthetic fittings.

The executive director of HEAL Palestine emphasized that Portugal "opened a door that very few countries have been willing to open." This initiative comes at a time when the need for support for children affected by conflicts is widely recognized.
The program includes rehabilitation for the girls, who have lost limbs due to the situation in Gaza. This effort represents a significant attempt to provide essential medical care to these children.
