PP demands resignation of Mónica García over healthcare crisis in Ceuta
The Minister of Health refutes the accusations of a healthcare collapse and details migrant care efforts.

The Popular Party (PP) has called for the resignation of Health Minister Mónica García, whom they consider "responsible" for the "healthcare collapse" in Ceuta. According to the party, the situation in health centers is critical, which has prompted their demand for her resignation.
Mónica García has responded to these accusations by denying the existence of a healthcare collapse in Ceuta. In statements, she highlighted that in the last 15 days, around 5,800 migrants have been attended to, a figure she presents as indicative of the healthcare system's capacity.

Furthermore, the minister emphasized that healthcare staff has been reinforced by 60 professionals until August 31, and the number of available beds has increased from 175 to 212. García asserted that hospital occupancy in the region is at 50%.
García sent a message of reassurance to the people of Ceuta, informing them that there are differentiated care circuits designed to avoid contagion risks in the context of the migration crisis.
