Real Madrid has officially announced the signing of Yan Diomande, making him the most expensive player in the club's history. The 19-year-old Ivorian forward arrives from RB Leipzig after an impressive season in the Bundesliga, where he scored 13 goals and provided 9 assists.

The merengue club secured the signing through an agreement totaling 125 million euros, a figure that could increase with performance-related add-ons. Diomande now surpasses Jude Bellingham, who was the club's most costly signing until now.

The deal was finalized after several weeks of negotiations, during which Paris Saint-Germain expressed interest without completing the operation. Ultimately, Real Madrid announced Diomande's arrival at a press conference.

The player is known for his performance in the World Cup, where he notably represented Ivory Coast. Before his time in Germany, Diomande joined RB Leipzig from Leganés, where the Spanish club received approximately 400,000 euros thanks to FIFA's solidarity mechanisms and the sale.

This signing, besides being a record for the club, underscores Real Madrid's trend of making significant investments in young talent. According to sources, the club is already in positive discussions with other players such as Vinícius Júnior, suggesting they will continue to strengthen the team.

Diomande thus joins a list of recent additions to the squad, which includes Bernardo Silva, Konaté, Cucurella, and Dumfries, further expanding the coach's options.
