A 16-year-old boy is in serious condition after being struck by lightning while at a scout camp on Monte Livata in the Rieti area. The incident occurred during a violent storm that hit the region. The young boy, along with other campers, suffered an electric shock.
According to various sources, the boy was urgently transported by air ambulance to Policlinico Gemelli in Rome, where he is currently hospitalized in the pediatric intensive care unit with a reserved prognosis. His condition is serious and raises concern among medical staff.
