Sister of Murder Victim Criticizes Amanda Knox's Comedy Show

Stephanie Kercher, the sister of 21-year-old British student Meredith, has voiced serious concerns regarding a comedy show by Amanda Knox that revisits the murder case from 2007. In an interview, she stated that Knox continues to use her sister's name, which is very painful for the family.

Kercher emphasized that she has never met Amanda Knox and does not see this as necessary. She called for clear boundaries regarding the use of her sister's name in this manner, which exacerbates the pain of the bereaved.

In addition to her criticism, Stephanie Kercher has launched an online petition against the show, which is supported by Britain’s new Labour Prime Minister, Andy Burnham. This petition has already gathered over 2,400 signatures.

Outrage over the format is reportedly widespread in various media outlets, as the family of the murdered Meredith opposes the commercial exploitation of the devastating case and finds the show disrespectful.
