A 14-year-old shot and killed his grandparents with his grandfather's gun on Friday before heading to his high school located near Bangkok. Thai police have confirmed that the shooter caused five additional fatalities at the school before taking his own life.

According to multiple sources, the shooter first attacked his family before heading to Debsirin Nonthaburi school. At this institution, he reportedly killed two teachers and three educational staff members, bringing the total death toll to eight, including his grandparents.

The events took place in the morning, with reports indicating that the teenager had planned his attack. At least 23 other people were injured, with nine in serious condition, raising concerns about gun violence in the country.
