Karina Milei will lead a meeting with officials and the Church to coordinate the Pope's visit in November.

The Argentine Government, under the leadership of the Chief of the Presidency, Karina Milei, will begin organizing the visit of Pope Leo XIV this week, scheduled from November 8 to 11. This Tuesday, Milei will head a meeting with ministers, officials from the city of Buenos Aires, and representatives of the Catholic Church.
The meeting will take place at the Casa Rosada and will mark the first formal gathering between the Government and the Church to discuss the logistics of the papal visit. According to Infobae, invitations have yet to be extended to officials from Córdoba or the province of Buenos Aires.

Attending the meeting will be the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Monsignor Jorge García Cuerva, who represents the Church in discussions regarding the visit. The agenda for the gathering will include several relevant topics related to the arrival of the Supreme Pontiff in the country.
Clarín reports that the meeting is expected to establish the groundwork for coordination between the Government and the Church concerning the Pope's visit. The participation of various governmental and ecclesiastical actors is key during this planning stage.
