Transfer of 103 High-Risk Prisoners in Colombia
The governor of Antioquia confirmed that the inmates were moved to various prisons amid doubts about the peace process.

The governor of Antioquia announced the transfer of 103 high-risk prisoners from the Itagüí prison to various penitentiaries in different cities across Colombia. This operation comes at a time of uncertainty regarding the recently discussed urban peace talks.
According to reports, the operation includes a first phase that encompasses the transfer of a total of 117 inmates to maximum-security prisons, aiming to regain control of the penitentiary system and prevent them from continuing criminal activities from within the prison. This measure was taken following an order issued by Abelardo de la Espriella.
