Trump confirms lack of talks with Iran after agreement expiration
Donald Trump stated there are no ongoing or scheduled talks with Iran, coinciding with the expiration of an agreement between both nations.

Donald Trump has declared that there are no "ongoing or scheduled" talks with Iran following the expiration of the 60-day deadline stipulated in a memorandum of understanding signed between Tehran and Washington.
A day before these statements, the president had indicated that there were unofficial communication channels between the United States and Iran, leading to speculation about the possibility of future negotiations.
Trump also reiterated his position regarding the Strait of Hormuz, stating that it is "open and operational," and that all sea mines have been removed or detonated.
Additionally, the president mentioned that the "naval blockade remains fully in effect," implying that tensions between the two countries continue.
The situation between Iran and the United States has been marked by fluctuations in relations since conflicts began in late February, following U.S.-Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic.
