US intercept over 60 vessels since blockade of Iranian ports
US forces have boarded 64 vessels and disabled three since the new blockade, according to Central Command.

US armed forces have intercepted more than 60 vessels since the naval blockade of Iranian ports was reinstated. According to Central Command (Centcom), a total of 64 commercial vessels have been halted during this operation.
In addition to boarding these vessels, US forces have disabled three and conducted approaches on two others. These actions take place amid tensions related to the US naval presence in the region, especially following the decision to restore the blockade.
The blockade aims to control maritime traffic and restrict the transportation of goods from Iran in order to ensure the security of shipping routes and respond to allegations of illicit activities. The situation remains ongoing and operations continue.
