Wagner Moura has sparked controversy on social media since his appearance on the talk show 'Conversa com Bial' two weeks ago, where he humorously referred to 'leftist fascism.' This expression provoked varied reactions online and was later criticized by the actor himself, who stated he had made a mistake by using the term 'leftist fascisminho' on television.

Days before this statement, musician João Bosco also made interesting comments on the topic during an interview with the newspaper 'O Estado de S. Paulo.' Bosco said that there is currently an 'exaggerated identitarianism by the left in Brazil,' indicating a similar concern to Moura's regarding ideological policing.

Both artists expressed worries about the possibility of internal censorship within the leftist camp itself, reflecting tensions over how ideas are discussed and defended. Moura, while having backtracked on his humorous statements, has maintained his critiques of the ideological pressure he observes on the left.

The statements from Moura and Bosco indicate a growing discussion about freedom of expression and the limits of political debate among progressives themselves. The increase in reactions on social media suggests that this topic will continue to be debated among the artists' followers and critics.
