Woman arrested after stealing police car and causing accident in RJ
A woman was arrested after stealing a police car in Barra de São João and causing an accident during her escape.
A 29-year-old woman was detained after stealing a police car in Barra de São João, a district of the municipality of Casimiro de Abreu in Rio de Janeiro. The theft occurred on Sunday, the 9th, and according to information from the Military Police, the woman fled along the Amaral Peixoto highway toward the neighboring municipality.
During the escape, the woman lost control of the vehicle and collided with a barrier. The Military Police reported that as soon as they were notified of the theft, a perimeter was set up to intercept the car. The woman's identity has not been disclosed.
