A family from the Czech Republic was on vacation in the Dolomites when the tragedy occurred. According to reports, the 14-year-old fell during a climbing tour at an elevation of over 2,500 meters. She apparently lost her footing and slipped into the depths.
Rescue services were promptly alerted, but they could only recover the girl's body. All efforts reportedly came too late, resulting in a tragedy for the family enjoying their holiday in the mountains.
The exact circumstances of the accident remain unclear. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fall has been initiated.
