250-Kilo bomb discovered and defused in the Rhine – Evacuation in Cologne

A 250-kilo bomb was discovered in the Rhine in Cologne, prompting an evacuation in the city center. According to n-tv, several hundred people, including employees from RTL and n-tv, had to leave the affected area.

The American explosive was defused over the course of the afternoon. The defusal was completed by the evening, removing the danger.
