Active volcano erupts again in Guatemala

The Volcán de Fuego near Guatemala's capital has erupted, spewing lava and ash. More than 1,400 people have been evacuated from the danger zone.

The Volcán de Fuego in Guatemala, considered one of the most active volcanoes in Central America, has erupted near the capital once again. According to reports, the volcano is ejecting ash and lava up to four to five kilometers into the air.

The highest alert level, red, has been declared in several districts. More than 1,400 people have been evacuated from the surrounding areas, although some onlookers still entered the restricted zone.
