3.5 Magnitude Earthquake Felt in Odemira and Neighboring Towns

The Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 on the Richter scale. The tremor occurred early this morning at 3:08 AM, with its epicenter located approximately 18 kilometers east of Odemira.

The earthquake was felt in several localities in the region, including the municipalities of Ourique and Almodôvar, which belong to the districts of Beja and Setúbal, respectively. Residents reported feeling the tremor, but there are no reports of injuries or material damage associated with it.
