The President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, has called on the West to move from words to action regarding Israeli settlements. Abbas specifically referred to the E1 megaproject, which aims to construct 3,400 housing units between Jerusalem and the West Bank.

Dozens of countries have already expressed their rejection of this project, highlighting the concerns it raises for the peace process in the region.

Palestinians emphasize the need for actions beyond mere statements, urging Western powers to take effective measures against colonization activities. Abbas reiterated that a clear condemnation of such initiatives is essential.
