From January to July, airports in Portugal reported a 2.5% increase in passenger numbers. In July, there was a growth of 2.1% compared to the same month last year, according to data from Vinci.
This increase in passengers at national airports contrasts with declines recorded in other countries, including the United States (-9.9%), Cambodia (-9.5%), and Japan (-5.8%).
The data indicates a recovery of the aviation sector in Portugal, compared to the negative situation observed in various regions worldwide.
