Alejandro Tabilo was defeated by Spanish player Rafael Jódar in the third round of the Masters 1000 in Cincinnati. The match took place in the United States, where Chile's number one player, ranked 29th in the world, could not overcome his opponent.
Jódar, ranked 11th in the world, easily overcame Tabilo with a decisive score of 6-2, 6-1 in approximately 75 minutes of play. The match was characterized by the Spaniard's dominance from the outset.
With this victory, Rafael Jódar advanced to the round of 16 of the tournament, where he will face Italian Flavio Cobolli, who also secured his place in this phase of the competition.
