Alessandro Di Battista, former deputy of the Movimento 5 Stelle, is scheduled to return to Italy from Cuba on Thursday. According to the latest information, his flight will be private and not state-sponsored.

His health condition remains serious, but he is conscious and lucid, as evidenced by his recent social media activity. Medical professionals have assessed the situation, and the return has been planned for September 3.

Some sources have suggested that efforts are being made to bring the flight forward to tomorrow, but it appears difficult for that to happen. Di Battista's partner, Sahra Lahouasnia, along with two doctors from the Gemelli hospital, has arrived in Havana to support him.

Di Battista's clinical condition had previously prevented his transfer from Cuba to Rome, but further medical evaluations have led to the establishment of a return date.
