The Medical Intervention Association (AMI) announced the extension of its support mission in Venezuela for two months. This mission aims to provide psychological and humanitarian assistance to the victims of the earthquakes that have affected the country.
According to local authorities, the earthquakes resulted in the deaths of 6,509 people and left 226,696 injured, who were treated in Venezuelan hospitals. The disastrous impact of the tremors prompted AMI to increase its efforts to help the affected population.
The extension of psychological support reflects the ongoing need for assistance in response to the humanitarian crisis triggered by the earthquakes, as reported in updates from the authorities.
