The local radio awards ceremony took place at Goldencenter in Parque Norte, with María O'Donnell winning Gold and live coverage broadcast.

The 2026 Martín Fierro Radio Awards ceremony was held on Wednesday at Goldencenter in Parque Norte, hosted by Luis Novaresio and Luciana Rubinska. Aptra's gala featured 32 categories honouring local radio and included a red carpet as part of the evening's events, with live coverage by Infobae.
María O'Donnell won the Martín Fierro Gold award, the ceremony's highest honour. The journalist and broadcaster also received the prize for female journalism work, according to Infobae.
Luis Ventura, president of Aptra, delivered a speech celebrating the event's turnout and recalling the decision to separate radio and television awards. Ventura declared: "Who said it's dead? We have life!", drawing applause from the audience.

The ceremony included several tributes. A recognition was held for Chiche Gelblung, with a text by Facundo Pedrini read by Rolando Graña that recalled the journalist's connection to interviews and his legacy. Gastón Pauls also participated in a tribute to Ernestina Pais with images from her career, saying: "She was luminous, curious, free and deeply authentic".
Eduardo Feinmann, host of Alguien tiene que decirlo, received an Aptra distinction and acknowledged his competitors. In his remarks, Feinmann stated: "We don't proclaim freedom, we practise it".
Journalist Mercedes Ninci, nominated in the Field Reporter category, arrived at the red carpet accompanied by her daughter Flor, an appearance that marked an exception to her policy of not publicly showing her children.
