Owen Ansah has qualified for the 200-meter final at the Athletics European Championships in Birmingham, despite a looming four-year ban following a doping test. His remarkable performance shows that he remains unfazed by the allegations and can still compete on the grand stage of athletics.

In the discus throw, Henrik Janssen secured a medal, ending a prolonged drought for German athletes in this discipline. With a throw of nearly 70 meters, he won the bronze medal, fulfilling an important sporting dream.
