Baby killed in Russian drone attack in Ukraine

A three-month-old boy was killed in a Russian drone attack in the southeastern Ukrainian region of Dnipropetrovsk. According to Military Governor Olexander Hansha, the fatal strike hit a residential building in the frontline city of Marhanez.

In addition to the deceased baby, eleven other people were injured. Among the injured are a five-year-old boy and a twelve-year-old girl.

The attack damaged several multi-story residential buildings as well as other structures, including a retail store and a cinema. Details regarding the extent of the destruction have not yet been released.

The situation in the region remains tense as Ukrainian authorities respond to the attacks. No information is available regarding further casualties or the exact timing of the attack.
