BBVA and Telefónica engage in significant market transactions
BBVA faces a loss of €767 million from stock sales, while Telefónica sells its historic headquarters to Tomás Olivo for €200 million.

BBVA has reported a loss of €767 million in its accounts due to the sale of a 3% stake in Telefónica. The banking entity raised approximately €600 million from this transaction, reflecting a considerable impact on its market value.
On the other hand, Telefónica has finalized the sale of its historic headquarters on Gran Vía, Madrid, to entrepreneur Tomás Olivo for around €200 million. This building has been a symbol of the operator for almost a century, housing the largest Movistar store in Spain and various facilities including a television studio and gaming spaces.

The transaction with Olivo was conducted through Galerías Comerciales, surpassing offers from other competitors interested in the property. This sale marks an important step in the restructuring of the telecommunications company's assets.
The shares of both entities stand out in the current economic context; however, each faces challenges and opportunities that could influence their future performance. The market will continue to closely monitor these transactions and their repercussions.
