Sport Lisboa e Benfica officially announced the loan of winger Tiago Gouveia to Gençlerbirligi, a club in Turkey. The player will join the Turkish team until the end of the current season. This marks the second time Gouveia has been loaned out, having previously played for other teams in similar arrangements.

The deal includes a purchase option, allowing Gençlerbirligi to buy the player at the end of the loan period. This information was shared by the Turkish club, which emphasized the terms of the agreement. Gouveia is seen as a valuable addition to their squad.

The transfer aims to provide the player with more playing time and development, although the exact financial terms of the loan have not been disclosed. Gouveia, who has made a name for himself at previous clubs, now hopes to contribute to Gençlerbirligi's success.
