Blau-Weiß Linz achieved a decisive 3-0 victory against Wacker Innsbruck in the 2nd League on Friday in front of their home crowd. With this win, the former Bundesliga club remains at the top of the table after two matchdays, continuing its pursuit of immediate promotion.

As the matchday progressed, the focus shifted to the poor start of St. Pölten, which remains without a win after suffering a 1-0 defeat against the Young Violets Austria Wien. In contrast, Hertha Wels managed to score points with a 3-2 victory against FC Liefering.
