While clearing out a house in Scunthorpe, England, Victoria Gordon found an unopened Mars bar with an expiration date of 1991. She made this discovery among items that had not been touched in years.
Gordon noted that the Mars bar is significantly larger than the current ones sold in stores. According to reports, the bar weighs more than one and a half times that of the Mars bars available today.
The discovery is striking because the phenomenon of 'shrinkflation', where products shrink in size without a change in price, is a current topic of discussion.
