French forward Yael Trepy, who plays for the Italian club Cagliari, was taken out of his induced coma on Tuesday at a hospital in Sassari, Italy. This news was confirmed by his club on Tuesday evening.
Trepy, who is twenty years old, nearly drowned in a swimming pool in Sardinia last Sunday. Following the incident, he was hospitalized, where he was kept in an induced coma to aid his recovery.
