The Chamber of Deputies approved three presidential vetoes related to the mega-reform pushed by Kast's government. This decision was made during a tense session, where the implications of the observations presented by the government were discussed.

Minister Quiroz justified the vetoes by stating that the contested measures, which include the right to financial oblivion for debts, usury, and 30-day payment terms for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), could have negative effects on the financial system and access to credit.

The approval of these vetoes eliminates three provisions that had been included in the initiative by the opposition. With the Chamber's decision, the vetoes must now be reviewed by the Senate for final consideration.
