The draw for the 2026/27 Champions League league phase, featuring 36 teams, will take place on Thursday, 27 August, according to The Independent. Details on participating teams and how to watch the league phase matches are expected to be released closer to the date.

Additionally, LASK will hold a moment of silence for a 65-year-old Celtic supporter who fell ill during the first leg of the Champions League play-off in Glasgow last week. This tribute reflects the club's respect for the fan's passing. BBC Sport reported on this event.
