Charges Filed Against Five Defendants in Case of Dead Baby in Burgenland

In the border area of Nickelsdorf, District Neusiedl am See, a dead newborn was discovered in January. The Eisenstadt Public Prosecutor's Office has subsequently charged a total of five individuals, who are in custody in connection with the case.
Among the defendants is the baby's then 17-year-old mother. She is accused of killing a child at birth, as reported.
Additionally, four family members of the mother are accused of being involved in the killing. These individuals are suspected of being complicit in a murder, which complicates the investigations further.
