China demands Japan respect antinuclear principles and warns about risks

China has demanded that Japan respect its antinuclear principles, warning that the country is "playing with fire" by considering the nuclear option. Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Lin Jian made these remarks in response to discussions regarding Japan's nuclear policy, which has been the subject of a survey conducted by the Japan Public Opinion Research Association.

The Chinese government has accused certain sectors of the Japanese government of pushing the so-called "nuclear option," which could jeopardize the three antinuclear principles historically adopted by Japan. This situation has generated tensions in relations between the two countries.
