The Chinese manufacturer Comac has completed the first international flight of its C919 model, connecting Beijing to Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. This flight was operated by Air China, marking an important milestone for this aircraft designed to compete with industry giants like Airbus and Boeing.

This new route between China and Mongolia will operate daily and adds to an existing service already provided by a Mongolian company using a Boeing 737 Max. The C919 is presented as a strategic advancement by Beijing in the international aerospace sector.
