The Civil Guard has dismantled a criminal network associated with the Sánchez Castro brothers, making a total of 44 arrests. The operation focuses on the laundering of 8.6 million euros, which is believed to have been obtained through shell companies and front men.

In addition, it has been reported that the organization attempted to smuggle 3,400 kilograms of cocaine through the Port of Algeciras, which heightened the severity of the charges against them.
