Manchester City will be traveling to face Crystal Palace in a Premier League match, following their recent performance in the league opener. The matchup presents an opportunity for both teams as they aim to strengthen their positions early in the season. Crystal Palace aims to carry momentum into the match, while Manchester City looks to build on their previous results.

In addition to their Premier League campaign, Crystal Palace's women's team has recently gained promotion to the Women’s Super League (WSL). Under the management of Jo Potter, the team aims to secure their place in the league with the addition of striker Bethany England. Last season, they finished in second place in WSL2 and are projected by Guardian writers to finish 13th in the upcoming season.

Furthermore, Crystal Palace is also set to participate in the Europa League, alongside teams such as Bournemouth, Sunderland, and Celtic. The draw for the league phase will decide their opponents as they seek to replicate the success of Aston Villa, who triumphed in the previous season's competition.

As both the men's and women's teams gear up for a challenging season ahead, Crystal Palace aims to establish itself in both domestic and European competitions, seeking to build on its recent accomplishments.
