Cybersecurity Agency warns of fake job interviews on LinkedIn

The National Cybersecurity Agency has issued a warning regarding fake job interviews organized through LinkedIn. According to reports, professionals have been contacted by fake recruiters inviting them to interviews.

These recruiters send a link during the interview, which, if opened, allows malicious software to access users' devices. The Agency has cautioned citizens about the potential dangers of these fraudulent practices.

In the first six months of 2023, 43,675 preventive communications regarding cyber attacks were sent, highlighting a significant increase compared to the same period last year, with a particular focus on risks associated with LinkedIn and job interviews.
